Education & Work Experience
Regina earned her Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Marketing from Jomo Kenyatta University. She also holds a diploma in Business Administration. Regina’s professional background is in the microfinance sector, where she worked as both a branch and operations manager. In these roles, she managed various departments, served as the final decision-maker at the branch level, and was responsible for performance appraisals, target allocation, and daily reporting. Her extensive background has provided her with a deep understanding of accounting and finance.
Work & Values
Regina’s efforts extend far beyond work, however. For years, she’s been involved in community-based financial literacy training, targeting individuals from marginalized areas with limited access to education. She also provides basic bookkeeping and business management skills free of charge, stemming from her past experience as a loan officer, where she observed the significant gap in financial knowledge among those without collateral. She mobilizes groups, often through church affiliations, and uses incentives to encourage participation, noting positive impacts on businesses and growth even among those she and her peers help.
Regina is also a champion for women, motivated by her previous role as an administration manager at the manufacturing company "Crafts with Meaning.” This company empowers women in rural areas by enabling them to create high-end artisanal merchandise, bags, decor, and more, from raw materials. She believes that empowering women significantly benefits the community as a whole.
Fun Facts & Personal Preferences
Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Regina is a diverse individual with a passion for farming and extensive involvement in church activities. She describes her Christian faith as central to her life and considers herself a "fisher of men.”
Whether she’s helping GoEpps clients, bettering her community, or lifting up women, Regina’s drive to improve the systems and communities in her life inspires everyone who gets to know her. This passion shines in her work at GoEpps, and she looks forward to helping the company grow and thrive.
